The 5 Deadly MLM Prospecting Mistakes that Most Distributors Make<\/h2>\n

These are the 5 Big Mistakes that network marketers make when it comes to prospecting.<\/p>\n

Mistake #1: <\/strong>They approach their Contact List with the goal to sponsor everyone!<\/a><\/p>\n

Mistake #2: <\/strong>They ONLY Talk to Their Close Friends and Family<\/a><\/p>\n

Mistake #3: <\/strong>They PREJUDGE their prospects and talk to only ones they think will be interested<\/a><\/p>\n

Mistake #4: <\/strong>They Sell the Business and not the Meeting during the Invite.<\/a><\/p>\n

Mistake #5: <\/strong>They Approach every prospect the same way.<\/a><\/p>\n

MISTAKE #1: Trying to Sponsor EVERYONE on Their Contact List<\/h2>\n

A proper Invite is NOT to convince everyone you know to join your business.<\/p>\n

Such unrealistic expectations only lead to disappointment and also makes you annoying and too salesly to your contacts.<\/p>\n

It makes you nervous, desperate and it turns off your prospects.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fortunately this can be avoided.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the Invite is not to sell to your contacts.<\/p>\n

Whether they join or not is not important! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Real Purpose of Your Contact List<\/h3>\n

The REAL and ONLY purpose of the Invite is to simply let the people on your contact list know \u201cyou are in business.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The biggest secret to my success and how I built a global network marketing business that generates over $25 million USD in gross sales in over 14 countries is because I treated my business like a TRADITIONAL REAL BUSINESS.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I did my research and found out that you can earn just as much, if not more, money in network marketing than you can in other businesses.<\/p>\n

But you must have the right mindset and approach.<\/p>\n

So make sure you treat your network marketing business like a real million dollar business!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s go back to your Sushi restaurant example one more time! (I\u2019m getting hungry just writing about it!)<\/p>\n

When you tell your friends about your Sushi restaurant, will you force them to eat there regardless of whether they want to or not?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course not! You will respect their decision. If you are too pushy you may even annoy them and they may decide to never go eat at your place!<\/p>\n

And the same applies when you \u201cInvite\u201d your contacts to look at your opportunity.<\/p>\n

The goal is to simply let them know about the business and not force them in. <\/strong><\/p>\n

By simply letting them know, even if they don\u2019t join you, you are setting up the stage for later on when they WILL join you when the timing is better for them.<\/p>\n

It makes the future Followup so much easier.<\/p>\n

But if you annoy and pester them, they may never join you at all.<\/p>\n

Treat Your Network Marketing Business like a Million Dollar Business<\/h3>\n

When you think of yourself of having a traditional business instead of \u201cjust\u201d a network marketing business, many of the things we should do is so obvious and common sense but often when we do network marketing, we lose our \u201cbusiness\u201d perspective and what is common sense no longer becomes common.<\/p>\n

So go let everyone know about your business!<\/p>\n

You Won’t Be Nervous Anymore<\/h3>\n

Another benefit to this proper approach is that you won’t be nervous anymore!<\/p>\n

What makes us nervous when we talk to prospects is when we “hope” they will join our business because it puts TREMENDOUS PRESSURE on you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having this attitude makes us nervous and start thinking about “what words should I say” or “how do I start the conversation”, etc.<\/p>\n

We no longer become natural.<\/p>\n

We become stiff and sound like robots.<\/p>\n

And it’s our fear of not knowing what to say or afraid the prospect will say no that makes us get nervous.<\/p>\n

But if you had nothing on the line and don’t care whether they join or not, things will become natural and we just go out and casually let others know we are in business.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That is easy.<\/p>\n

It’s easy cause we already do that everyday in our conversations.<\/p>\n

So just let them know you are in business with no hidden agendas and your prospecting will become MUCH easier and you won’t be nervous.<\/p>\n

Who Are You Going to Tell Next?<\/h3>\n

So go back to your contact list.<\/p>\n

Who did you leave out and who are you going to tell next?<\/p>\n

Let people know you have a Million Dollar Business!<\/p>\n
