style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOh, um, I don&#8217;t like to sell, I can&#8217;t sell.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many people get that response because they\u2019re trying to be the movie. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You know sometimes you send the link to people, to get them to watch, so you say something like, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I&#8217;m going to send you a link to watch more info.&#8221; <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EDIFY THAT LINK!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why not say instead\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;This is the video, it&#8217;s been watched 50,000 times, let&#8217;s talk about something that&#8217;s totally changed my life, changed my friend&#8217;s life, you need to&#8230; you know, whether you like it or not, you need to watch this video.&#8221; <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&#8217;t just say, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201chere&#8217;s the link, take a look at it\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have you ever watched a captivating movie trailer, (whether you searched up the trailer or saw it on a commercial), it captivated your interest just a bit more, didn\u2019t it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It increased your interest for the movie just a bit more. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So\u2026<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be the trailer, don&#8217;t be the movie.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hack #2 You&#8217;re\u00a0sorting-\u00a0not selling nor convincing<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When prospecting, you&#8217;re simply there to collect a decision.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A yes or a no.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes, I&#8217;m in, I&#8217;m interested to learn more.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>No, I&#8217;m not.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You are not not there to sell, convince people. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A lot of people&#8230;with those that I coach, or else where\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Most common question is:<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;How do I convince this negative prospect to do that?&#8221;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You don&#8217;t.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You&#8217;re sorting, you&#8217;re not convincing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sort, sort, sort, sort.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, applies to your downlines, your negative downlines, you&#8217;re sorting downlines too.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because, if you work hard to convince them, and by some sheer reason they do join, you will find yourself working too hard later down the line trying to convince them to take action on their business\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Hack #3 The 3-second rule.<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have you ever had a prospect, maybe you at a grocery store, and you see that person has a good smile, good attitude, could be a good prospect, and then you&#8217;re thinking:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Maybe I shouldn&#8217;t bother them, maybe it&#8217;s not a good time.&#8221; <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You start overthinking it, and then next thing the person&#8217;s gone\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have you ever had that happen to you?<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even at an event, maybe a convention, you see some leader and your inner dialogue goes a little like this:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Oh, he&#8217;s a top speaker there, I want to get a selfie with him. He inspires me\u2026\u201d<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI want to go, but <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maybe<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I&#8217;m bothering him, <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maybe<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> he&#8217;s got to get ready for his training\u2026<\/span><\/i>\u201d<i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe, maybe, maybe.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And 20 maybes later\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In an instant, he&#8217;s gone.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Right? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>So here&#8217;s the three-second rule\u2026<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second you think about something, someone, <\/span><b>you&#8217;ve got three seconds you got to act<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, I see another person like Jeff, three seconds:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One, two, three, I \u00a0go up to him. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe you have a prospect, I should follow-up with that person, the second you think about it, act on it, because the more you wait, the fear increases.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The more you don&#8217;t act our self-esteem goes down. Right. Needy. Salesy. Pushy.<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How many of you have had a prospect that hasn&#8217;t got back to you yet?<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or\u2026<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A prospect that has disappeared on you?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They still haven&#8217;t watched the video. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, you&#8217;re still waiting for them&#8230;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It could be the stone ages again, and they still haven&#8217;t watched the video.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They\u2019re avoiding you because they don&#8217;t want to tell you, &#8220;No.&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most network marketing distributors, their networks shrink. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>They burn their friends, they push the wrong way, the network, they shrink it. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You want to always be expanding. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You always want to end every interaction on a positive note, because what happens&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The person you know may not become the superstar, but everyone knows someone that&#8217;s going to be a superstar in your business.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ok, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s say Larry (pretend person) has been avoiding me, avoiding my text messages, not following up.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Here\u2019s how you respond in the \u201cpurple cow way\u201d- the opposite of the pushy, needy network marketer&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You say:<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Hey Larry, just want to let you know, our friendship means more than anything in the world. <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don&#8217;t want this business, this process to get in the way. It&#8217;s okay if you don&#8217;t join nor buy. I just want to be friends, and hang out again.<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I promise I&#8217;ll never bring up the business again. <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is it okay, can we still be friends?<\/span><\/i>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How do you think he&#8217;s going to feel if I say that? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He&#8217;s going to feel relieved.
