3 Truths to MLM Prospecting\u00a0<\/b>

Truth #1\u00a0<\/b><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/h2>\n

You know who you know:<\/i><\/b>
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

You know who you know on your contact list.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s an obvious one.
\n
\n<\/span>These are people who are in your phone\u2019s contacts, in your social media friend list, etc.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>People that you are aware of that you know.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Well, you gotta contact them…\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, did that thought just make you a bit nervous?<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>If you’ve been nervous in contacting your list, here’s the thing. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The one deadly mistakes<\/a> that people make is that they feel that they have to try\u00a0and convince everyone!
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Let\u2019s start off with a \u00a0fundamental concept here\u2026<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>(Which you probably have heard me say it 1,000,000 times in the course of my trainings, live videos, etc.)<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>And that is:
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The purpose of the contact list is <\/i><\/b>not to convince<\/i><\/b> people to join your business.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Your goal is to let them know you have a business.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n


\n<\/span><\/i>Isn\u2019t that such a relief?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i>To know and be able to say that to yourself!<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>If you think you’re going to convince, that makes you nervous because you\u2019re attaching yourself to the result. <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>REMOVE yourself from that result. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Instead, <\/span>focus on the activity. <\/b>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Your goal is to let them know you have a business, not try to convince everyone to join…<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>If you get over that,<\/span> you will feel a lot better.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/i>You get to release and let go of that nervousness, that anxiety.<\/b>
\n<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span><\/i>Ok, now that we\u2019ve covered this 1,000,001 times;)…<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span><\/i>Here\u2019s a simple, applicable tip<\/strong> you can implement when approaching your list either online or offline:
\n<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>You can practice on people.<\/b>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>What does that mean?<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Literally what it sounds like!<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>You have a friend, or someone you know\u2026<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

So, you can talk to your friend and say:<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>“Hey, you don’t need to buy anything, but can I practice on you? Can I practice my approach to my prospects on you?”<\/em> <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>See what they say, okay?
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>And you just go from there\u2026
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Approach and invite.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

When you practice on people, a lot of times, believe it or not, some of them may actually join to support you after they see how much hard work you’re going through. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>They can see that it\u2019s more than just<\/em> a \u2018get rich quick\u2019, that this is something serious. <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Truth #2<\/b>
\n<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n

You do not know who they know, that knows you:
\n<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n

Okay, that may sound like a tongue twister.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>But here\u2019s what that means\u2026<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So, you have this friend..<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>You know Bruno, and Bruno has a friend named Mars that knows of you.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>But, you don\u2019t know that friend Mars directly, right?\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>So this, again,\u00a0<\/span>is a great source for referrals!
\n<\/b>
\n<\/span>How?
\n<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Because you and Mars may not be close, you’re definitely not close friends or even friends.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Maybe acquaintances.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Or they just know of you\u2026<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>But, although you don\u2019t that person directly, they know you through your friend (in this case Bruno) whom you do know.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>How does this help you?\u00a0<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Because you probably didn\u2019t try and convince Bruno to buy or join, you just simply let him know you have a business\u2026<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>It helps in these two ways:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Bruno can REFER YOU,<\/b> introduce you to that person that knows you but you don\u2019t really know yet\u2026 <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. It adds to your list<\/b>– whether online or offline, for each friend you know, that\u2019s actually 5+ more extraordinary people you have the opportunity to get connected with. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n


    \n<\/span>That’s why you have to reach out to people.
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Reach out to \u2018those that you know you know\u2019- your friend list. <\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    Your contact list is actually a lot, lot bigger than you think!<\/b><\/p>\n

    Truth #3<\/b>
    \n<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n

    You don’t know who knows you:<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n

    And this is more through social media. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>You don’t know who knows you. <\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

    This is a big one. <\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

    Many don\u2019t realize this is a huge untapped market! <\/b>
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>You don’t know who knows you.
    \n<\/span><\/i>
    \n<\/span><\/i>So, meaning like, there will be Facebook friends out there, people out there, who are not your Facebook friends, but they know of you.
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/i>Right?
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/i>And this is the part where you have to really be about- <\/span>online marketing authority.
    \n<\/span><\/i>
    \n<\/span><\/i>The consistent content of the value you produce in the market place.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Always remember that.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/i>
    \n<\/span><\/i>You always get paid for the value you give to the market place. <\/b>
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    If you\u2019re giving value, people will come.
    \n<\/b>
    \n<\/span><\/i>So, you don\u2019t know who does know you\u2026<\/span><\/i>
    \n<\/span><\/i>
    \n<\/span><\/i>That makes you think about your Facebook contact list very differently. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Whether you are aware of it or not, people are always watching!<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    And these people can know of you in various ways- <\/span>
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>I.e-<\/strong> a Facebook live you made and was shared, or some valuable post you made that someone came across, etc.
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>The point is\u2026
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>You never know who is watching your content. <\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    Even if someone didn\u2019t like or comment on it…
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    It could be something you share on a given day that resonates with them in some way.<\/span>

    \n<\/span>Never go on a day without providing value…<\/b>
    \n<\/span>
    \n<\/span>So, every day, here’s a goal:

    \n<\/span><\/i>If you\u2019ve learned something, take what you learned and you share\u2026<\/span>

    \n<\/span>One of the best ways to get good, and become an authority, is to take what you learn and share it.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
