\/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And that is:<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b><i>The purpose of the contact list is <\/i><\/b><b><i>not to convince<\/i><\/b><b><i> people to join your business.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Your goal is to let them know you have a business.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/innovateuk.blog.gov.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/153\/2016\/07\/We-are-OPEN-for-business-620x310-620x310.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"240\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isn\u2019t that such a relief?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To know and be able to say that to yourself!<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you think you&#8217;re going to convince, that makes you nervous because you\u2019re attaching yourself to the result. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">REMOVE yourself from that result. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead, <\/span><b>focus on the activity. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your goal is to let them know you have a business, not try to convince everyone to join&#8230;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you get over that,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you will feel a lot better.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><b>You get to release and let go of that nervousness, that anxiety.<\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ok, now that we\u2019ve covered this 1,000,001 times;)&#8230;<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s a simple, <strong>applicable tip<\/strong> you can implement when approaching your list either online or offline:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>You can practice on people.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What does that mean?<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Literally what it sounds like!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You have a friend, or someone you know\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, you can talk to your friend and say:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>&#8220;Hey, you don&#8217;t need to buy anything, but can I practice on you? Can I practice my approach to my prospects on you?&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">See what they say, okay?<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And you just go from there\u2026<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approach and invite.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you practice on people, a lot of times, believe it or not, some of them may actually join to support you after they see how much hard work you&#8217;re going through. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They can see that it\u2019s more than <em>just<\/em> a \u2018get rich quick\u2019, that this is something serious. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Truth #2<\/b><b><i><br \/>\n<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b><i>You do not know who they know, that knows you:<br \/>\n<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Okay, that may sound like a tongue twister.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But here\u2019s what that means\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/awesomejelly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/tongue-twisters-2-638.jpg\" width=\"426\" height=\"320\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, you have this friend..<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You know Bruno, and Bruno has a friend named Mars that knows of you.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, you don\u2019t know that friend Mars directly, right?\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So this, again,\u00a0<\/span><b>is a great source for referrals!<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because you and Mars may not be close, you&#8217;re definitely not close friends or even friends.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe acquaintances.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or they just know of you\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, although you don\u2019t that person directly, they know you through your friend (in this case Bruno) whom you do know.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How does this help you?\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because you probably didn\u2019t try and convince Bruno to buy or join, you just simply let him know you have a business\u2026<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b><i>It helps in these two ways:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Bruno can REFER YOU,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> introduce you to that person that knows you but you don\u2019t really know yet\u2026 <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>It adds to your list<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; whether online or offline, for each friend you know, that\u2019s actually 5+ more extraordinary people you have the opportunity to get connected with. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That&#8217;s why you have to reach out to people.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reach out to \u2018those that you know you know\u2019- your friend list. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Your contact list is actually a lot, lot bigger than you think!<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Truth #3<\/b><b><i><br \/>\n<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b><i>You don&#8217;t know who knows you:<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And this is more through social media. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don&#8217;t know who knows you. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a big one. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Many don\u2019t realize this is a huge untapped market! <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don&#8217;t know who knows you.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, meaning like, there will be Facebook friends out there, people out there, who are not your Facebook friends, but they know of you.<br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Right?<br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And this is the part where you have to really be about- <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">online marketing authority.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The consistent content of the value you produce in the market place.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Always remember that.<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><b>You always get paid for the value you give to the market place. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>If you\u2019re giving value, people will come.<br \/>\n<\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, you don\u2019t know who does know you\u2026<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That makes you think about your Facebook contact list very differently. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether you are aware of it or not, people are always watching!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And these people can know of you in various ways- <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>I.e-<\/strong> a Facebook live you made and was shared, or some valuable post you made that someone came across, etc.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The point is\u2026<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You never know who is watching your content. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even if someone didn\u2019t like or comment on it&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It could be something you share on a given day that resonates with them in some way.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Never go on a day without providing value&#8230;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, every day, here&#8217;s a goal:<br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019ve learned something, take what you learned and you share\u2026<\/span><span
