Whether you raised them or they developed bad habits from someone else, you put them in that situation where they were conditioned and programmed to think and act a certain way.<\/b><\/p>\n
That\u2019s the scary thing that I have to remind myself everyday\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n And it forces me to be better each day.<\/span><\/p>\n I admit it that I\u2019m far from perfect.<\/span><\/p>\n And I see the imperfections in my kids.<\/span><\/p>\n And their faults can be traced to ME.<\/span><\/p>\n From the times I lost my temper or the ways I acted\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n I see it in my kids.<\/span><\/p>\n ALL of it.<\/span><\/p>\n They model us 24\/7.<\/b><\/p>\n The good and the bad.<\/span><\/p>\n Fortunately for my 3 boys, there\u2019s more good than bad.<\/span><\/p>\n And it\u2019s one of the reasons why I\u2019m super grateful for network marketing.<\/span><\/p>\n One of my fundamental beliefs is that network marketing allows us to be better parents because we\u2019re always leading by example and creating that legacy.<\/span><\/p>\n Our kids model what we do and the pre-MLM Simon was different from who I am today.<\/span><\/p>\n Thanks to the network marketing profession, I\u2019ve been more grateful, more humble, developed success habits and gave up television.<\/span><\/p>\n So fortunately my kids are growing up in a much more positive environment now. Last Sunday was another super proud Daddy moment for me. <\/span><\/p>\n My oldest son, Ethan had a great baseball game and here are 3 things he did that reminded me of who we must become.<\/span><\/p>\n I taught him these things but I\u2019m human and sometimes I forget. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He reminded me not by telling me but by his actions.<\/b><\/p>\n Which by the way how is Leadership works.<\/span><\/p>\n Leadership is caught, not taught.<\/b><\/p>\n Here is what he did and the lessons <\/span><\/p>\n In his first at bat, he had a rough time initially. <\/span><\/p>\n He swung and missed the first 2 pitches thrown at him.<\/span><\/p>\n Down 2 strikes just like that\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n But instead of getting nervous or reacting\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n Ethan stayed calm.<\/span><\/p>\n I saw him step outside the batter\u2019s box and he relaxed\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n He closed his eyes to visualize\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n And then he went back in to face the next pitch and he immediately hit the ball!<\/span><\/p>\n I was so proud of him!<\/span><\/p>\n Now back to you\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n During tough times, do you stay calm and visualize your success?<\/b><\/p>\n Do you go back and think about your Dream Board or do you go back to what just happened and why \u201cyou\u2019re in a rut?\u201d On his second at bat, he ran and slid into first base and scraped up the skin on his elbow.<\/span><\/p>\n Instead of crying and complaining\u2026 he just looked at it a few times and went back onto the field the next inning.<\/span><\/p>\n He played shortstop and during the entire inning, he didn\u2019t let his elbow distract him.<\/span><\/p>\n He was present in the game and paid attention to every pitch.<\/span><\/p>\n When we are in pain or discomfort, are you present and aware of the opportunities around you?<\/b><\/p>\n Or you do easily get distracted by the negative things that happen?
