What Happens If Your Prospect Says “No”

You must understand that people are not saying “No” to you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re simply saying “Not now”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and they’re not rejecting you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to Sort and When to Convince<\/h4>\n\n\n\n


Before I share what SWSWSW stands for<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to be clear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your prospect immediately tells you “No” when you approach them<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

then you apply SWSWSW<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if it’s after a presentation and you feel that the prospect was interested<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

then you must do everything to close them and make the sale<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if they tell you immediately “No”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

then you apply SWSWSW<\/p>\n\n\n\n


SWSWSW

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWSWSW stands for<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some will<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some won’t<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what?!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You move on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re in the sorting business<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and NOT in the convincing business<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Prospecting is About Timing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n


“No” does not mean “No forever”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It simply means “Not now”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every prospect will eventually do 3 things<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Buy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Join<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Give you a Referral<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but probably “Not now”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you understand this,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll realize the key to success is Consistency and Followups<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Stay Consistent Everyday<\/h4>\n\n\n\n


Make sure you stay consistent with THE DMO<\/a> and income producing activities<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

so that when the timing is right<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the prospect will think of you and maybe even reach out to you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fortune is in the followup!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always followup<\/a> with your prospect every 6 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n

because the timing may be better for them<\/p>\n\n\n\n
